The use of mild vacuum systems to protect the texture and flavour of the cheese often leads to compromises in terms of efficiency and productivity.
This can be overcome with the CRYOVAC® Brand SVS45, which is a new type of automatic vacuum packaging and sealing machine, offering a gentle vacuum process in continuous flow. It allows high speeds to be achieved while maintaining the structure, texture and taste of the cheese. In parallel with the use of SEALED AIR® shrink bags, SVS45 helps to reduce the carbon footprint by almost half compared to packaging standard cheeses in thermoforming materials. It covers a full range of products, from small consumer portions (200 gr) to large industrial products up to 25 kg with no limitation on product size and shape.

- High velocities under a gentle vacuum (linear velocity ranges between 5-12 meters per minute, e.g. Euroblock : 10-24 ppm, 1/5 Euroblock : 20-40 ppm).
With parallel ripening, the structure, texture and flavour are maintained (the cheese is kept under atmospheric pressure throughout the process). - Adjustment of pressure, welding bar height and temperature on the control screen
